Overview
The gala dedication ceremonies at the opening of three new major attractions at DisneylandâMatterhorn Bobsleds, Submarine Voyage, and the new Monorailâinclude a parade down Main Street with appearances by Walt and Roy Disney and members of their families, along with Vice President Richard Nixon and family, and numerous film stars. The celebrations end at night with a fireworks display.
